The Tremendous Bowl-winning kicker described his father as “abusive”
“I had an overly abusive father that I talk about,’ Gramatica informed the hole.

Gramatica said his father provided an example of the type of relationship he did not want to have with his own children.
“It made me know what to not do with my youngsters. I wish to assemble certain that if anyone reads the conserve and realizes, ‘I want to fracture this,’ and I would like anyone to comprehend it faster than after I did. I didn’t notice how unholy it was once till I had my first son when Nico was once born.”

Martin’s challenging relationship with his father led to an agreement between Martin and his siblings.
“I really like that child such a lot that you simply’re considering, ‘How can I ever do what my father did to me?’ So, that’s what I believe. I talked to my brothers, and we made a pact. We were given to fracture this,” Martin noted.
“We haven’t spoken [to our dad] since as a result of we simply don’t need that form of abuse round our households. I’ve 3 youngsters. My brother Santiago has two youngsters. So, we don’t need that round our children. That’s what the conserve’s about.”

Gramatica kicked for Kansas Environment ahead of making the soar to the NFL in 1999. He spent the primary six seasons of his NFL profession with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, winning the Super Bowl with the Bucs in 2002.
He ended his professional football career with a 76.4% career field goal percentage.
